 How can we improve schools?

• We can improve our school by extending our interval.

• We can improve our school by having a long summer break.

• We can improve our school by making the class rooms bigger and better.

• We can improve our school by having late starts.

• We can create new games in our house games.

• More house colour games through-out the year.

• Less strict teachers.

• Let us wear whatever colour nail polish.

• They could put the prices down at the canteen.

• They should add puffer jackets to the uniform.

• They need a bigger corridor in the office.

• We need a bigger hall.

• We need a bigger canteen.

• We need blinds on our windows.

• We need bigger corridors in all the classes.

• We need to be allowed phones in school.

• We should be allowed to watch YouTube in class time.

• We should get 10 minutes free time in between our classes.

• We should have more time in P.E .

• Carpet in classes that don't have it.

• Get heat pumps for more warmth.

• Give the student the WiFi password.

What are you trying to improve, create or change: We are trying to make school a better place to learn and make rules less strict. 

Maths

Theo has a fundraising idea for Rahui Sports Club. He will get punters to pay $2.00 to roll 2 dice. If they roll a double 1,2,3,4,5,6 they will double their money.If they don’t his cause is $2.00 richer.

Will his idea be profitable and what might he need to consider.

How do I learn best?

I learn best by working with others in groups but I can do most of my work on my own.

What stops you from learning?

The thing that stop's me from doing my work is people that talk to me while doing my work.

What has been the most exciting part of being a year 9 so far?

I think the most exciting-est thing for me is getting all of my Basic facts, measurement, and bed mas.

The beach day

12/11/2019

On that day me and my class (DHT) went to the beach. It was a good day to go to, but it was still cold. We left the school at 9:10, we took 2 vans to the beach, we also got put into 4 groups of 5. I was in a group with Mali, Kyana, Michelle, and Koya. When we all arrived to the beach we met three life guards there names were Sophrose, Cassie, Lisa, Damian and Kirsty. The first activity that we did was learning about CPR it was fun but awkward but it was still fun. 

After awhile of doing CPR we had morning tea then after morning tea we did the Rubbish clean up me and my group went to the beach and looked for rubbish until we realised that we had one of the cleanest beaches in the world. After the rubbish clean up we did the Weetbix challenge it was the first one to finish there Weetbix wins the challenge. After the Weetbix challenge we did the "Human pyramid challenge it was really fun and funny i wonder how cheerleaders do this kind of stuff, chubby bunny challenge to i don't like marshmallow's but i just wanted to win something but sadly i didn't i couldn't take it anymore i had to SPIT out the taste of the marshmallow's was to yucky for me, but i made it past 8 marshmallow's and i'm proud of myself for stuffing all those marshmallow's in my mouth. Then we had lunch and then got ready for the beach once everyone got ready we headed to the beach to played a game called flag. After that we could go for a swim in the cool water. When we finished going for a swim we hopped in the showers got changed and left the beach. We came back to the school to wait until the bell rang then we went home.

That was a nice day.
