1 thing I have enjoyed in school is my sports when ever there's a sports event happening in the school i'm always excited to do but scared and shy at the same time.

The beach day

12/11/2019

On that day me and my class (DHT) went to the beach. It was a good day to go to, but it was still cold. We left the school at 9:10, we took 2 vans to the beach, we also got put into 4 groups of 5. I was in a group with Mali, Kyana, Michelle, and Koya. When we all arrived to the beach we met three life guards there names were Sophrose, Cassie, Lisa, Damian and Kirsty. The first activity that we did was learning about CPR it was fun but awkward but it was still fun. 

After awhile of doing CPR we had morning tea then after morning tea we did the Rubbish clean up me and my group went to the beach and looked for rubbish until we realised that we had one of the cleanest beaches in the world. After the rubbish clean up we did the Weetbix challenge it was the first one to finish there Weetbix wins the challenge. After the Weetbix challenge we did the "Human pyramid challenge it was really fun and funny i wonder how cheerleaders do this kind of stuff, chubby bunny challenge to i don't like marshmallow's but i just wanted to win something but sadly i didn't i couldn't take it anymore i had to SPIT out the taste of the marshmallow's was to yucky for me, but i made it past 8 marshmallow's and i'm proud of myself for stuffing all those marshmallow's in my mouth. Then we had lunch and then got ready for the beach once everyone got ready we headed to the beach to played a game called flag. After that we could go for a swim in the cool water. When we finished going for a swim we hopped in the showers got changed and left the beach. We came back to the school to wait until the bell rang then we went home.

That was a nice day.

Why we have R.O.A.R and why it is important.

We have R.O.A.R because it helps us stay in control of ourselves and it guides us to whats right and whats wrong it helps us choose the right path.

Respect is when you have to respect the people around you
and respect the things aren't your's.

OC pride is when we have to where the right uniform

Active Learner is if you share your ideas with others and taking care of your own learning.

Responsibility is when you have to be responsible of charging your own chrome book at night,. Before you come to school you have to make sure that you have your books and pencil and rubber and ruler ready for the day.

My work

1 thing i have learnt this week.
I have learnt a lot of different kinds of maths in Education perfect and i have learnt more about my own country (Tuvalu). We do this thing called my Country Project it's really fun and interesting learning about your own country.

1 goal i have achieved this week.
I have achieved my maths on Education Perfect i made it past two hole activities in more than 2 days.

1 thing i need to improve.
I have to improve on coming to school on time or else i'll be late for the rest of my school life, so from know on i have to wake up and get dressed early and have something to eat before i leave.

My holiday

During the school holiday's I went to a cousin's 21st birthday. My mum said, "everyone get ready we're going to Misy's 21st", then we all replied, "okay mum". So once we got everything ready my mum said to me and Agcym that we should do a dance for him so we did. We decided to do a Samoan dance for him since there aren't that many people at the birthday that is Samoan. So after we practised the dance last minute we had to leave or we would be late for the birthday. Once we arrived at the birthday we ate some food blew out the cake. After that me and Agcym had to rush to the bathroom and get everything ready we had to put our outfit on, then we had to put oil on, after that, we did our lipstick (we put it on our cheeks). Then we went out and did our dance. 
That day was so fun and nerve-racking.

The Matariki

Matariki is the 7 sisters. Waiti is the fresh water and the food that is in it. Waita is the sea water and food that lives in it. Waipunarangi is the water in the sky. Rain falling from the sky from the sacred sky. Tupuanuku has food growing in Papatuanuku - Mother Earth. Tupuarangi has food growing in the ngahere, up in the tree. Tane's domain. Tree's, birds and berries. Ururangi is the wind. Pohutukawa is the people who have passed away. Hiwaiterangi is wishing dreaming star. Hopes and inspiration. Matariki is a gathering of people and whanau. Reflection. The environment.

Trip to Capital E

On Thursday 14th all of the yr7/8 went to Wellington to watch some magnificent show's so we went to 3 show's 1st was the Troll, the 2nd one was the opera house, the 3rd one was the Capital E performance. So today I am going to write about 1 show and the one that I am going to talk about is the opera. So when we went to the opera there was a big sign that said THE OPERA HOUSE when we entered the opera house we got put on the top seats and when we got our seats we got to eat for until 15mins was up. Then the show was on then we watched. Then once the show finished we left the building and waited at the bus to go back to school. 

The day we went to the Maori land

On the 22 of March all of the yr 7/8's went to the Maorilands.So we had to walk from the college to the big gym,then once we arrived to the gym we went in and we had to find a seat at the top so we did then these 3 people came and talked to use,well 2 people there were 3 but one had to go do something.So the 2 people told us a like waiata or a karanga but she said something in Maori,I don't know what she said but the boy translated it.So we watched 5 or 6 maybe 7 video clips my very least favourite was Spirit it was like a horror film some people cried 

The Revaluation😏😏😏

My favourite😯 bit of The Revolution was when he said stuff about quotes and jokes, or the stories that he told like the one with Matt or Nathan. Nathan was a sad 😭story because he passed away😞. But I also liked when the girls were singing too.😍

That was a sad day for Ben (the talker)😩.

But that was a good day for me and everyone else in the school.
I really enjoyed the Revolution tour it was so fun and the songs were beautiful.

I enjoyed it because the stories that he told us were like part of his life and some of the stories that he told were sad stories, and some stories were happy and funny stories. That was the best Tour I have ever seen or been too.

MY HOLIDAY !!!!

In the school holiday's my aunt and uncle and cousin's came over for the holidays. We had the best time well sort of, well we did have the best time😞. We had to do chores I hate doing chores😠. It was also raining in the days, but the rain never stopped us from having fun. So we played some games in the dark and my mum would always growl us if we made a big mess. I was so mad at them for making a big mess😤. So I told my sister to help me clean then we started cleaning. After we finished cleaning we were so tired after that so we took a nap. And then we woke up and it was 9 o'clock⌚. So we went on our Chromebooks till we were tired. It was 1:00 in the morning,🌄 so my sister got tired but I was wide awake. Then I went to sleep.

The most fun day in this year!!!

On Friday the 1st of March there held an athletics day it was scary at first but then I got the use of it. So we were in groups so there was senior boy's and senior girl's that were in groups as well. So the other groups were yr 7/8 girls witch me and my sister were in and there was also yr 7/8 boys, then yr 9/10 girls, then yr 9/10 boy's and yr 11/12 girls and yr 11/12 boys. The yr thirteens would always race the staff that was there. Ok, where were we ah yes so when we got put into groups we went off to our events that we had to get to.so first me{Vallerie} and my sister {Agcym} went to our event which was the rugby pass. A rugby pass is a sort of game so it's actually really simple really all you have to do is just to pass the ball through the hula hoop. Our next event that we had to go to was shot put I pretended that I was Valerie Adams because my name is Vallerie but not Adams, well I came second in the shot putt. Well, I'm too lazy to talk about the other events so let's just skip all the way to the part where we race. So we had to do the 100m sprint and at first, I was a bit scared and really excited at the same time. So I tried my best and I did succeed I did what my dad told me just relax and RUN!!! So I did and I came 1st I was so happy and then I went to my parents and they were proud of me too. Then our next event was the 200m race I was in the middle of everybody and I still took my dad's word and I just ran. And then that day ended with the yr 13's and staff's race it was really fun for me because the teacher got frashed by the yr 13's.
So that was our fun and hilarious day.
